Health Serenity: 7 Tips to Find Inner Peace!

Serenity: 7 Tips to Find Inner Peace!

No need to change your life to cultivate serenity and inner peace! Here are 7 very simple tips …

1 – Make peace with your inner child!

The period of childhood is always accompanied by “wounds”: a feeling of abandonment at the birth of a little brother or a little sister, a requirement of too high school results, conflicts with a child. Member of the family…

In adulthood, these wounds (which also concern people who have lived a happy childhood!) can turn into fears: a fear of missing out, of being rejected or of not being loved.

How? ‘Or’ What ? “Take the time to remember your childhood wounds: remember the hurtful situations, the injustices, the insulting remarks you suffered when you were younger, and write them down on a sheet. End your list with a small one. kind word to the attention of your inner child Something like “I recognize your sufferings, but we will move forward together from now on” then burn the document.” In short, we make peace with the past!

2 – Determine your priorities!

Of course, we would like to have a fulfilling job, a happy family, a married life like-in-the-movies, breathtaking talent and get involved in humanitarian causes. But in “real life” it is necessary to establish priorities! You wear yourself out pursuing fifteen objectives at a time: it’s very stressful and not very rewarding, in the end.

So take the time to take out a blank sheet of paper and write on it all the goals you would like to achieve: travel more, progress in your work, develop your creativity, have a baby … Do not forbid yourself! Then, rank these priorities according to your deep desires, and concentrate your daily efforts on your number 1 priority.

Good to know: “your life is constantly evolving, it is therefore interesting to repeat this exercise with each major change – the birth of a child, a marriage, a new job …”.

3 – Cultivate generosity!

A text message to a friend who is depressed, a compliment to a colleague, a smile to the supermarket cashier, a helping hand to a loved one who is moving … Here are a few small actions that cost nothing, but pay a lot!

These everyday acts boost self-esteem and help make the world a better place, little by little. Because doing good is all about it. do well !

Be careful not to go overboard: please, yes, but not to the detriment of our values, our needs and our desires …

Serenity: it’s not that complicated!

4 – Have fun

Pleasing others is good … Pleasing yourself is even better! Every day, give yourself three pleasures. No need to aim for extravagance: listen to music you like, savor a coffee on the terrace, take a bath, admire the sunset …

Even more important: every night before you fall asleep, take the time to list these three pleasures. It’s very quick and it helps to end the day on a positive note.

5 – Living from day to day!

It may seem macabre, but it is essential to fully appreciate the present moment: every morning, focus on becoming aware of your own mortality, and to consider that this day that you are about to live could well be the last …

To do what? Starting from the principle that life can stop at any moment allows you to live more intensely each day, without putting off until tomorrow what you want to do today – which does not mean that you have to stop making projects! Thanks to this reflex, we also relativize the little worries and micro-conflicts to which we tend to give too much importance …

Live in the present to find inner peace.

6 – Dare to express yourself … and listen!

Communication is the key to peaceful relationships in family, at work and as a couple. Try to speak up as often as possible: say what’s wrong, don’t let resentment build up … and also say what you like, it’s good for your self-esteem.

Within the couple, this ritual will prevent a rise in pressure of banalities. Also remember to listen to your partner … and accept their reproaches without going into a spiral of violence!

7 – Reconnect with your five senses!

What if we let go of our smartphone from time to time? When you walk in the street, try to reconnect with your five senses: sight (how do you find the landscape?), hearing (what are people talking about?), smell ( when you walk past a bakery, take a deep breath), the touch (what’s the weather like? Wet, dry, hot, cold?) and the taste (if you stop for a coffee!).

The goal? Bring the feeling back into consciousness … and reconnect with the “real world” to finally savor the present moment.

“Success, they taught me, is built on the foundation of courage, hard-work and individual responsibility. Despite what some would have us believe, success is not built on resentment and fears.” – Susana Martinez
