Empowered and strong women know their worth. They ‘re not wondering if they deserve the most, as they already know they do. That’s why they’re never going to settle for less than the best and thus end up leading more satisfying lives. That’s the kind of woman we would all aspire to be because successful women are happy ones. Here are some things you ‘re going to do better as an empowered woman:
- YOU’RE ALWAYS EVOLVING.
And if you’re proud of yourself right now, you know there’s still room for change. It’s why you’re just trying to bring yourself into new circumstances, so you can see different environments, do new things, and know more about the universe. Every single day, you grow up as an individual.
- YOU HAVE STRONG OPINIONS.
There is no wonder that we need feedback in order to lead a healthier life, but at the same time allowing us to make sense of the world, to feel comfortable and confident, assured and certain. They take the stress away from the intrinsic insecurity of life.
Does a strong opinion represent a mind that is free, curious and engaged, a mind that recognizes transition, a brief passage of thought, and a vagary of emotion? Or does it represent a mind that is locked, set, absolute? Either way, you’ve got a strong opinion that genuinely can’t waver.
- YOU WON’T LET OTHERS TEAR YOU DOWN.
When you’re offended by a stranger on the Internet, you ‘re going to take that with a grain of salt. You ‘re going to do the same if any of your colleagues make a snide remark as you pace along. And those tabloids that remind you how thin you’re going to be? You just ignore them, because you know they’re BS.
- YOU ENCOURAGE OTHER WOMEN.
You’re not dwelling on the clothing that other women wear. You’re not dwelling on their choice of work or their partnership status, either. So long as they’re content, you’ll inspire them to start doing what they’re doing. Girls ought to stay together, after all.
- YOU’RE SELF-SUFFICIENT.
You will pay the bills, cook dinner, and switch the tires. You learn to take care of yourself, and you’re not afraid to be on your own. And, frankly, you sort of like it.
- YOU AREN’T AFRAID OF FAILURE.
You believe in yourself; You’re not going to let the anxiety hold you off from great opportunities. You will be going to ask a guy out, even though he may refuse you. You’re going to hold a work interview, even though you may be turned down. Also, you don’t care about the negative stuff that could occur since you’re so focused on the good possibilities.
- YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DESERVE.
You’re not going to let your partner, your manager, or your parents talk down to you and you realize you deserve to be treated with dignity. You’re the kindest individual the world has ever seen, but that doesn’t mean you’re going to accept BS. If they insult you, you ‘re going to warn them off.
